Saturday, July 5th - Meet up at Wagner Motorsports at 700 Plantation Street in Worcester. From 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM, Wagner will be playing host to the meet, greet and eat portion of Summer Scoot with a BBQ and more! At about 1:30 PM, the BIG Summer Scoot group ride will commence and we'll go in a big pack in & around the Worcester area, ending up later on at Ralph's Chadwick Square Diner downtown at 4-4:30 PM. While Ralph's parking lot is craterous & sketchy, it is the only bar / pub venue in the area with enough room, style & ambiance to hold this event! Located just off Grove Street (map it around 100 Grove Street and look for the retro neon diner sign!), Ralph's Diner has been around since the 70's and still wins local awards for having the best burgers in Worcester and their chili is legendary as well! Hopefully, alot of scooterists will choose to continue hanging out as a big group after the group ride and converge on the diner for a late afternoon / early evening of socializing AND talking to the public about scooters in general. There will be at least one live DJ providing music outside the diner as we watch the sunset. There will be at least one smaller evening group ride going around the more more urban areas of Worcester. Lots of FUN! Ralph's will have bands playing upstairs in the club later that night, but admission will be additional. And like every July 4th weekend, SUMMER NATIONALS will be going on in the city of Worcester. |
